Is it possible to fix a crack in a bathtub?

We just bought a house and discovered that there is a small (less than half an inch) hairline crack and possibly a chip in our fiberglass tub. It is such a fine crack that I can barely see it, but I can definitely feel it with my finger. Is there a way to seal or fix this before the crack gets any bigger and water does damage to the floor?
