    Bummer.

  • See if this link helps. Sometimes it can just be something simple like needing a new rubber gasket at the spout.

Leaky faucets depends on the faucet you have? Some faucets do not have any washers any more and when they leak your stuck replacing the faucet! If you got a higher quality faucet it will have a couple different washers you may need to replace! most faucets you start by removing the handle. Be sure your water is shut off at the main water supply before attempting this project! You may need to turn on a faucet in another room both hot and cold that should only drip a little if you got your main water supply off? Then work on your leaky faucet! After removing handles you should see another nut to remove.the whole main stem your handle was on should come out and hopefully you’ll see where your washers are on the stem! Normally there two washers, one up high on the stem and one lower washer. The higher washer keeps your water from shooting out up around your handle, while the lower washer stops the faucet from leaking into your sink! Check YouTube for pictures/videos and directions to get a better idea how to replace your washers!

It might just need a new gasket or washer inside. They are fairly simple to replace. You can get a small package of gaskets/washers at the home improvement store for under $2 or $3.
