Tighten the screws that are in the middle of the stand.
Most of them tilt, and one you find a suitable position there should be screws you can tighten. Sometimes there is a wedge at the back you can move to hold the mirror in place.
tighten the screws/bolts holding the mirror to the stand
I’ve tied to tighten them but I wonder if need to put some wd40 on it. The screws might be warped from how old it is
Remove the screws that hold the mirror in place on the sides. Put small shreds for a scrap piece of wood you shave off with a knife or wooden match sticks in the hole. Replace the screws. This will tighten the screw by making the hole smaller. WD 40 is a lubricant. It will make thing slippery not tighten them.
The screws need tightening. If they aren't holding, remove them and put some toothpicks in the holes. Add the screws and they should tighten and hold.
If you can't do anything else with it why not attach it directly to the wall? I realize it is decorative but I would error on the side of safety.
