How to fix an outside door that has possibly been kicked in?

Our door to our garage is a weird door. When we moved in, it seemed ok. But as we have been in our house we have noticed that the door is kind of "warped. " the bottom doesn't sit against the frame. The catch for the door knob doesn't stay tight. I have 3 1/2 in screws in it , but they won't stay in. WE are suspecting that maybe it has been kicked in. Any way of fixing it without replacing the door??

I would just go to Habitat for Humanity Restore and pick up a new one for around $20. Then beef up the hardware and put a deadbolt in.Helpful Reply -

Invest in a metal door. In many places it is required by code.Helpful Reply -

If your door is "warped", it will never fit correctly. Get a new one.Helpful Reply -
