I would take a clear photo to a flooring dealer and ask them what to buy/do to fix this. There may be kits or products out there by the original manufacturer just for situations like this.

Try baking soda and a little vinegar to make a paste. Use with a terrycloth rag to get it up.

There is a product called Laminator. Avail direct or thru Amazon. I haven't tried yet but plan to. Sounded pretty good.
