My grand daughter has out grown her toddler bed. It's a plastic one that holds a crib matters. I would like to make it into something to be used in her "Big Girl" room. Since it's plastic I can't cut it up and make shelves. I'm at a loss! Any good Ideas out there??

They have on Pinterest a way to turn a crib into a desk for a child. Not sure if you cando that but it looks like a great new use for a crib that's been outgrown .Look under cribs repurposed. It that doesn't work out. What about removing the mattress, taking it outside and helping make a garden bed in your yard. That is something most kids would love to do.Great way to teach them how to grow a garden. If it really is made of plastic, they now sell spray paint for plastic items so you could also change the color if you wanted too .Make sure you take a picture when you figure out what you decide to do!

The problem is this one is plastic. All the parts that we would use to re-purpose to shelves desks and other things, are prefab plastic.

I would make it a chaise lounger with lots of pillow and paint the plastic a more "Big Girl" color or even "upholster" the head board and side panels.
