How do I drill a hole in glass say to make a lamp?

I have a case I’d like to turn into a lamp. I’d have to put a hike in the bottom.

Hi Angie. You will need to buy the proper bit for your drill to do this properly. It ia a tungsten carbide spear head bit. Good luck

Angie, You need a glass bit, that comes with other drill bits. You will be able to drill a hole without it cracking, if it's done right.
