How do I repurpose a wooden bread box?

Pet food holder? Storing cleaning supplies? Out of season blankets or clothes?

I repurposed mine for chip bags. This one looks like it might be a good place to put rolls of saran wrap, foil, etc. You could put a bit of contact paper over the "bread" and even paint it.

I put mine outside my front door. People (including the postman) use it to hold small packages and mail. Comes in handy all the time.

They are giving ideas for use. I say paint with white chalk paint and shabby/sand the edges and antique it. Then paint over center with black true chalk board surface and add your new label for its current purpose written in white chalk.

Paint it (or leave it as it is), scrape off the word ‘bread’ if possible and put in fairy lights. Great for mood lighting in a darkened room while watching a movie.

I use mine to hold extra rolls of toilet tissue in the bath room.

I would put a picture over thr bread oval using decoupage and then shellac. Use this on the counter for what ever you choose! You can cut the picture out of a magazine, use a baby picture, wrapping paper, use your imaginatiion.
