How do you make "pins" out of buttons to wear in fashion?

glue a shank on the bottom and use special pins for this. All found in notions.
Hop and bop over to your local fabric or craft and hobby store. They sell the pins that you can glue the button onto. Pick up a good glue too while you are there. Use a qtip or toothpick to apply glue so it doesn't gloppy. Technical term! Lol.
