Use a saucer with a cup on its side, glue cup to saucer, put rope or plastic cord through the cup handle, then hang your cup/saucer from a branch or mounted hook.. Fill saucer with birdseed. A friend of mine used old tablespoons, bent the handles and screwed them on her fence. She also put dowel sticks in the fence board by the spoons. Then filled the spoons with birdseed. The birds arrived and were "spoon fed". It was a good photo-op moment, but the spoons needed to be filled often.

You could glue a bowl to a plate. Put seeds in the bowl. The birds will perch on the bowl to eat seeds. The plate will catch excess seeds. Instead of filling the bowl with seeds, you could fill it with water for a bird bath. If you have any silver ware, you could make wind chimes with them. String them up thru a clean tin can.

You can get an old lamp base and take out the wiring and bulb bracket and use glue 6000 on a lovely plate and make a bird bath out of it. I made a bird feeder from a cup and saucer by gluing them together then my husband drilled a hole through both ( must have a ceramic bit) and screwed it on a tree branch

Paint wooden spoons and stick the handles into the ground.
