How to upcycle brown packing paper?
In our small town we have to order many things online. Consequently I have a lot of that brown packing paper they use for filling the box. I hate to put it all in the landfill. Do you have some projects to upcycle it and make something useful or decorative?

I like to tape brown paper down on the table like a and let the kids scribble, finger paint, or go crazy with bingo dots. It makes craft time so easy to clean up.
We also wrap birthday presents in it and make bingo dot "polka dots" on the paper. :)
It’s grway wrapping paper because you can’t see through it!
I save it to ship packages. I am always sending something to one of my friends out of state. Sometime I feel I like I should own UPS . . . I spend more there than anywhere else! If I have too much on hand, I just toss into my recycle bin, they take almost everything. I guess I am lucky, but in this day and age every municipality should have some sort of recycle program in place.
You could use ink stamps to decorate for wrapping paper use for paper mache, twist strips of it into Rose's etc to put into floral wreaths
I second using as wrapping paper. Brown paper is my only gift wrap. I make statement bows with wide wired ribbon and add seasonal picks and small gift items.

I use thick layers of newspaper for weed block under my mulch. I would think you could do the same thing with your brown paper.
I cut mine into pages and made myself a journal. I wrinkled them all up to soften, then I ironed them to flatten just a bit. Then I just glued them at one side to make book pages.
