Contact paper, mod podge, even gift wrap will work!
Live near water and have kids? Or, are childish, like me? Save them up and make a raft. Organise a homemade boat race, with prize being money toward the winners charity of choice.
Too much? I'm pretty sure if you post them on a Freecycle type forum, there are people who could use them. Check with local people and animal shelters.
Save and resell for a buck a pop, when it's warmer.
Find out if the service you are using would consider setting up a re-using program. It should be a tax deduction of some sort. Should being the operative word!
Hi Barbara, depending on the size, you might be able to make a storage ottoman out of one or two. Decorate with fabric, etch designs in them, or decoupage them. Since you're getting them regularly you'll want to find additional ways to make use of them for sure. Use them as planters, food transport of frozen food from store to home. I hope you can make use of them somehow, perhaps decorate them and use as a container for gifts? They can also be cut up and used in large planters as filler so much less potting soil is needed. I found a few ideas online. Good Luck!

Hi Barbara, this question has been a asked a few times and I've seen lot of suggestions from donating them to animal shelter, homeless shelters or food pantries, to using them to build holiday snowmen and decorating them with rope to make planters out of them. Use as Planters. Bury in the ground as a mini pool/ bird bath etc. Offer to a shop that sell fish, for transport. Paint or cover and use in home for many purposes. Ideal in Shed for stuff that requires to be kept at even temp. etc. or is a Hazard or Poison!
When grocery shopping (large trips) I like to keep on in the back of the SUV so keep dairy products cold.
