Repurposing ice cream sticks

I volunteer at a hospital and we make tray favors for patients during the holidays throughout the year. I have a lot of ice cream sticks. Any thoughts on what we could do with ice cream sticks?

We use them to build fairy furniture and pixie doors, although I'm not sure if that would work as a tray favor. You could make some coasters by gluing the sticks together and writing an inspirational quote on them or add some eyes and a feather, ribbons etc. to make a bookmark?

I think something like this is cute and would be a small, fun gift for the patients to use a bookmark or ornament. How great that you volunteer - wish more people would give back like you!

Use to stick in plants to ID. Also, Compost bin worked for me.

My son learned in scouts how to make an ornament called a God's eye--you need yard and 2 sticks per ornament.

I have used both ice cream sticks and tongue depressors for roof shingles on doll houses. They make perfect shingles.

If you soak them and then put inside a cup to dry you can make bracelets to decorate with Sharpie or other pens.
