Take handles off glue on one end battery tea light set in window for nice holiday lighting. You can paint roller if you like or leave natural for old timey look.

A neighbor of mine has a roller pin collection. She hangs them over each other in her kitchen. It is a very impressive display.

Use them in the kitchen as a towel rack.
