How can I upcycle an old metal dustpan?

The dustpan is 50 yrs. old and has a lip that crosses over the pan. They don't make them this way anymore. Any good ideas on how or what to use it for, as a decoration?

    I am not sure how big the lip is but could you plant some succulents in there and hang it on the wall?? It sounds cute I would love to see a picture.

    I don't know how to put pictures on here. I am not computer savvy. Keep thinkin'....... Thank you for replyin'. the lip that crosses over is about 4 inches wide.

    Flip upside down and fill with eucalyptus or flowers.

    That was one of my first thoughts....fill it with artificial flowers and hang it on my Laundry room door.....something to do with dust pan.??? I thought of a mail holder? Help me out here.:)))

    You could stencil or paint something on the front to create a unique looking sign.
