I put little spools of thread in the jar, glued sponge and then material on the lid.....so I can stick my straight pins and safety pins on it. My husband took a 2by4 board, screwed 12=baby lids to the board, fastened the board between the wall and shelves in the garage.....filled the jars with his nuts, bolts, small fasteners and small nails....then just screwed the jar into the lids. Voila instant storage. My daughter
put beads and little bobbles in the jars that the kids need for crafting. She let the girls color the lids anyway they wanted too!!

Ty Annie!
I use them for keeping small amounts of left over paints. Sorting etc.
They would be a good size for spices!
They would make cute tea light candle holders
