What can I do with 17 unmatched leather gloves?

I would like ideas on how to repurpose women's leather dress gloves. They are too beautiful to just throw out, but none of them match.

Just curious, I wondering how you have 17 unmatched gloves. Wondering if you could dye some to have matches.

If they are all different, it could make quite a nice display on an old serving tray with some old jewelry, black and white photos, old pearls, etc. You could rotate the gloves once in awhile to "freshen" the display. I have several old gloves in my glass-front china cabinet, along with an old pocket watch and a miniature of my folks (circa 1940)
  • I think you should make a winter wreath. Stiffen the gloves up with some medium and make a really cool one of a kind glove wreath. I can guarantee that no one will have one and you will have a great conversational piece.

You could fill the gloves with something to make them into leather 'hands' that you could then use for displaying your bangles, rings etc on? Use the gloves under glass in a frame as some sort of artwork? Maybe several of them all arranged in a fan like shape??

I would use them as ladies' work gloves! Have you ever noticed how you can never find a small pair of good leather work gloves like they make for men? They would be great to wear when you rake the yard, uses any hand tool, etc. I have a rake that has foam rubber in the area where you hold it and it is fantastic! If I use any other tool, I have to use hubby's gloves that are too big for me!

Raw material. I make leather and bead jewelry, leather amulet bags, etc and use all the gloves I can get. Glove leather is fine and supple and I love to work with it.

I'd love to send my women's leather dress gloves if you can creatively still use them.

They have been stored since the 50's and 60's when fashion was the rage. How can I get them to you?
