I know I can paint and display extra or old ceiling fan blades. But I would like to have a couple of real uses for these blades. I have only one idea. 😇
I have six pressed wood ceiling fan blades. I would like to create some really nice for gifts.
They are kind of pretty! Are you removing them from the fans?
Hello. My first impression would be painted as wall art or fabricated into faux palm tree.
I've painted them and transformed them into pretty wall art. I have a bunch of DIYs, but yours remind me of Christmas trees. You can peek here if you like: https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2016/11/easy-hand-painted-wooden-christmas-decorations.html
Did you purchase a new fan with less attractive blades? I am wondering if they perhaps they can be swapped out?
Definitely wall art.
Either wall art or outdoor fence art. Garage art facing a patio
Use them as artwork on a wall.

Ooooh, strip tease! Dance behind them! Or...hang them: one up, one down, one up.
hmmm you could make a family tree out of the leaves. easy to put names on the leaves. You could write some words of wisdom n give to people you know. Someone getting married you could put on it whatever their name is and put established and put date. Hope that helps ya. Good luck.

Thank you Hometalkers! Appreciate the input from all of you.
I really like the faux palm idea. Thank you Vimar Honor for your idea. I love it! Most likely add the faux palm to the remodeling of our front porch.
i will post it when I get it done. It will be a few months, because we will be doing some remodeling in the near future. Looking at expanding our front porch area.
What about mounting them on the ends of plain open shelves to not only 'spruce them up' a bit, but to help keep items from falling off the sides
I would paint them and use them for a DIY project like a mural on an outside wall or make a dragonfly with those as the wings and a chair leg as the body.
Looove those! Could you paint and distress them and create a tree (using these as the palm leaves) on a wall? It would be a super cool 3D art project.
Hi. I am interested in purchasing these if you still have them. i have a great room that needs 4 ceiling fans
