Try heating the paper with a blow dryer to softened it
Warm it up with a hairdryer and peel it off........
Many people suggest using a hair dryer gently, in sections, and scraping with good old razor blade. I think I’d be tempted to cut ”stripes” through the paper before heating and scraping.
WD40 to help remove the glue.
I agree with Jcraw. I've used fabric softener and very warm water after making some stripes with a plastic knife, then I softened everything with a hairdryer.
