How can I cover or frost a window to limit sunlight?

Need idea ( Cheap ) on how to frost or covering clear glass to cut down on sun light that is Cat friendly

We've used self-adhesive privacy film on the door to our laundry room. It's available lots of places- I think we got ours from Home Depot- and had held up very well (our treatment is over a decade old and going strong). There are lots of interesting finishes too.

Window film is definitely the easiest and most budget-friendly way to cover a window. It come in different frosted or stained glass patterns and is easy to install! I hope this helps!
