Create State Inspired String Art
My goal in creating this diy piece of art was to highlight the silhouette of Alabama and the phrase "old times there are not forgotten. I wanted to make a classy piece of art that I’m proud to display in my home. Check out my tutorial on how to make your own state inspired piece of art for your home!
A little bit of glam with the different textures and metallics.
I created my own planked wood piece by using wood glue and wood slats.
I used a fabulous grey wood stain!
I used paneling nails and string to create the state silhouette.
And I made a heart in the middle for the "heart of dixie".
