Extra Storage Using What You Already Have
Do you have heirlooms? Sometimes it's helpful to think outside the box to make them something useful and that can fit in your home. That's exactly what we're going to do in this post. You can find more of my crazy creations (click here)
My parents had received this picnic basket when they were married. I remember it sitting in the garage growing up, and I don't know that we ever used it. Recently my mom gave asked me if I wanted the picnic basket and I said YES!
Now I know we might not use it for picnics as we usually use a cooler for that, but how can I use this thinking outside the box?
We have a small place and I'm always looking for ideas for space saving storage. We have our blankets we use and an idea struck. I can use the picnic basket for blanket storage!
I placed all of the blankets inside the picnic basket and they fit perfectly! I roll them up for easy grab and go.
Lastly, I slid the picnic basket under our side table in our family room!
