Snapoutofit on Dec 03, 2015I would start by looking at decorating magazines in your style for inspiration. Your library probably has magazines to check out, you can't check out the current copy but usually behind the rack are the older ones. Check out a bunch (and support your local library) and take home to look through. Also look on Pinterest, you can search by catagory. Once you determine your style and what furniture you have to work with, Post a more specific question so we can better help you.Helpful Reply

Mary on Dec 03, 2015If you have tall ceilings a loft bed would give you more living space. If the ceiling is too low a dual purpose bed such as a day bed would help with storage. A couple of chairs that fold and could be hung on the wall when not in use. There are some cool looking ones out there or redo card table chairs. Could look like art if you want. Vertical shelving either a bookcase or stacked crates, under the bed storage, storage boxes on shelves horizontal to ceiling up higher. Think dual purpose. If you need to cook here also look at the mini house movement articles and full time RV blogs. Hope this helps. Good luck.Helpful Reply

Thebakers47 on Dec 03, 2015I agree with a previous commenter. IKEA is the place to go. If you don't have one near by its worth a trip to go to one. They have rooms set up for you to look at. Even if you don't buy form them the ideas you take away will be of great value.Helpful Reply

Jeanne Martin on Dec 08, 2015I had a lake cabin that was only 12' x 12'. Remember that you have double the space...just look up! I used a vintage hammock to hold extra bedding, quilts, pillows, etc. I hung pots/pans on the wall by the Coleman campstove/kitchen area. We used reclaimed Barnwood and made shelves a little above head high. I bought inexpensive matching baskets/totes and that is where we kept our clothes. I found vintage folding wood chairs at a church sale and only kept two of them out for everyday use. The other two I hung on the wall (when folded shut they lay pretty flat) for easy, quick access when needed. It's amazing what you can come up with in a pinch for space!Helpful Reply
