Dee on Dec 07, 2015I'd hit up local thrift stores, flea markets, etc. Maybe an old dining room chair? Something sturdy with good bones. Paint the wood, and reupholster the seat in a fun fabric. You can buy small jars of chalk paint at the craft store. Just browse here and on Pinterest for the general idea.Helpful Reply

Patricia on Dec 07, 2015Well that sounds fun! I would start with something you already have that isn't valuable (dollar wise or sentimental) and see how it turns out. Either that or shop the thrift stores for something inexpensive and perhaps small. Maybe a side table, nightstand, or a wood step stool are great projects to start with.Helpful Reply
