I have a confession to make. I hate coffee. I hate the taste. I hate the smell. Fortunately Prince Charming only drinks one cup each day, so a Kcup monster is a perfect solution. However, do you know what I hate more than coffee? I hate appliances on the counter...and the Kcup monster is too big to put away each day.
Me being....me.....the woman who thinks everything should be pretty....decided if I had to look at the monster, it was going to be sitting on something pretty.
Here's my solution.

Here's my solution.
I found this beautiful buffet on Craigslist. Just the right size for the space I had in the "eat in" part of my house.
It has great "inlaid" detail on the top.
With a fresh coat of chalk paint & some dark wax, the detail shows nicely (I left that beautiful top alone).
The coffee monster has a new throne & there's an added functional benefit....
Besides hiding all the coffee supplies...
The cabinet doors turned out to be a great place to store our "bar". Shelves in the back of the cabinets are just the right size for wine & margarita glasses & the front of the cabinets are tall enough even for the tallest liquor & wine bottles.
Prince Charming helped me with this great pallet shelf to finish out the "coffee bar".
What do you think?
