If you love fabric and sewing, chances are you have bins of fabric you have to sift through when starting a project. Not anymore! Learn how to organize fabric quickly, easily and for pennies!
This is the way my sewing room looks now. Fabric, neatly organized, sorted, and easy to find whenever I am starting a new project. I have a dirty little secret though.
Not too long ago, my fabric used to be stored like this! I know I'm not alone in this! Fabric can be tough to organize. When you have to sort through tub after tub after tub of fabric, to find the specific fabric you need for a project, it's not fun. In fact, sometimes I'd put off a project because I didn't want to haul out and sort through my fabric totes!
Have no fear! With some comic book boards, a label maker (optional) and a bit of spare time, you can quickly and easily get your sewing room organized and at optimum efficiency!
Click through to get the full instructions on how to get started organizing your fabric in minutes and for pennies!

Working in a retail store I can get all the cardboard I want. I use that to wrap my fabric and hold it together with a rubber band. I love the illustration board idea though.
