Simple Spring Hoop Wreath

This hoop wreath has a special spot on our front door! I saw this aztec/triangular fabric with Spring colors and GOLD at Hobby Lobby and it is what sparked my creativity for this project. I decided to find felt and ribbon in matching colors and decided to add a wooden 'A' to the wreath as well.
This was an inexpensive, fun and quick craft- the best kind IMHO!!
I used two embroidery hoops, fabric, felt that matched the fabric (SO glad Hobby Lobby had some Spring colors available!), ribbon (I didn't use the gold roll) and a wooden A! As you can see, you can create this wreath for under $10!
Cover the smaller hoop in fabric.
I created three rosettes in felt for the wreath. I have a tutorial on how to make felt rosettes, which is linked in the instructions in my blog post below. I made the center rosette larger than the other two rosettes.
Hot glue your two hoops together. Then, paint your initial and hot glue it on after it dries.
Then, make a pretty bow for the top! You can find a lot of bow tutorials online, or you can use a Bowdabra to help you make one.
And, then you have yourself a gorgeous hoop wreath for the Spring! Enjoy!
