Beach Lamp Made Out Of An Old Black One

Junk Gypsee
by Junk Gypsee
I had this old black lamp forever in my foyer, since the 90's but wanted to lighten it up. I took chalk paint and mixed it to the color I wanted, gave two coats, put a sealer on it and then 3 coats of wax. I used the shade it had, but attached a textured, cotton fabric with spray E6000. Next day...I attached shell edging I found at Hobby Lobby and dotted the rest with tiny conch shells, all with E6000. (Hot glue tends to melt with heat and lamps get warm. :-) Then I decided it needed some beach shoes!! For humor. xoxo https://www.etsy.com/shop/JunkGypsee

LOVE THIS IDEA! I have a wooden floor lamp I scored for $10 from an upscale hotel. It's seen it's better days, but I just had to have it. Because of you, I can see a new life in it. Thank you!
