I have this concrete floor in my craftroom and not sure how to fix it up? I don't have much money at all. It's a 12x16 room. Any ideas?
Ugly concrete floor. What to do with it?

Kraft paper floor. I did it to my countertops. Inexpensive and looks great. Kraft paper sandpaper and acrylic. Found on Pinterest

A few years ago I was working at a client's home in San Diego, and she run out of money before the finished kitchen flooring was decided. So at this point, it was just a concrete slab. We solved the problem by getting a few samples of paint in different shades of gray and a few blues. Without following any pattern we just simply painted on the floor squares and rectangles in different sizes and shapes to simulate stones. After the painting was done, a clear coat of acrylic varnish to protect the whole floor took care of it. we didn't spend more than $30-$40 and to this day that floor is the talk of every party!

Thank you for your comment. To get the best results one needs to think a little out of the box. when applying the paint, don't use a brush in the regular manner, but if you cut the ends of the bristles to form a zigzag pattern and only dip into the paint just the ends, you'll have more of a dotted effect than just brushstrokes. Also you may want to use things like wood sticks of different widths, cut perpendicularly for bigger dots, feathers for a diffused effect, and also just water for more subtle coloring. Try any and all possible technique and instrument in a piece of paper to see how to achieve the desired effect.
