I used the same technique that I did when I did the Lacy Table, but this time I used it on a Dollar Tree vase. I love the delicate, feminine, Shabby Chic look of it! This would also work for Wedding Centerpieces.
Total cost: $1.00 for the vase, and $4.00 for the paint if you don't already have it on hand.

Have a question about this project?
I’m having a bit of trouble with this. The first one I put paint on too heavy so I had some drips and the second one I had trouble peeling lace off after paint was dry. Also there were some spots that the paint didn’t get to.
Any tips? Could I use a sponge brush with some kind of paint? What kind?
