Vanity Table Makeover

This was a $10 yard sale find that we gave a makeover too. My daughter wanted a vanity table that she could sit and get girly n pretty at and apply lip gloss and perfume before school. Also great for littler girls that want to play dress up with friends too. We had been searching and most were $150 for a new one.
We're on a budget so we kept looking. We were out yard sale-ing and found this one priced at $20 and my husband talked them down to $10 since it was later in the day. It was in bad shape. It was cream with painted flowers and pretty beat up as you can see the before. When I showed L she was sooo excited.
We sanded it and with a little time and love transformed it into this great teen inspired Vanity table and stool. We printed out some black n white art work for the picture frames on the sides, she drew and A for her name on one and added a photo of our dog too.
For the stool the seat was easy to unscrew and I had the zebra fleece scrap from pillowcases I had made her so we just stapled it on and screwed it back on.
It has been transformed to a cute vanity table that she uses daily and looks cute in her room. It is one of our top pinned makeovers on Pinterest too. She has fun and sometimes I see her boa draped over the edges too.
Last week we made a Lucite tray for it with chevron fabric so she had another option for perfumes (see that post). We all want to look pretty and feel girly right?? - Lots more on the blog, feel free to stop by. Have a great day, Lisa.
