After the holidays and New Year's Eve, you may find yourself with a cork collection. This heart craft will reuse your old corks in a fun upcycled way that you can hang on your wall for Valentine's Day or just to celebrate LOVE year round! Here is a sneak peak of how the project will look when you are done.
First gather your supplies and go ahead and arrange your corks into a heart shape. If they are all different sizes, don't worry. That just adds to the visual fun.
Now you will want to decorate each cork. Make each one a little different for variety. Paint the top of each cork. Then Srinkle glitter onto the painted tops of the corks. I used two different sized glitters and two different shades of red. Set them aside and wait for them to dry.
Once they are dry, arrange them in the shape you want again. Start at the bottom of the heart and using the glue gun work your way to the top securing them all together with the hot glue.
