If the vinegar and baking soda did not work all the way ,try using Natures Miracle available in pet stores.
Hi. I have 5 cats and an elderly dog. I have stains and odor. I've tried many things and, if you aren't afraid of using chemicals, try Fabric Clean by the Chemical Guys. Removes both the stain and odor. Even old stains. I was desperate and was trying many different things. This works.
I used awesome cleaner from the dollar store. Worked like a charm.
Enzyme D. It's sold at janitorial supply stores. It breaks down the"stuff". Work on anything
So many Great solutions! Any number of them will work. However, if you spaz out and over saturate the carpet and pad to the point of no return and find you've created a whole new smell unto itself and your tan carpet has turned a mysterious shade of tinted ilk (I can't be the only one)... then you'll want to remove the carpet. Vinegar the subfloor. Use two coats of an odor and stain blocking primer before you recarpet.
Oder logic clean away. its a n enzyme based cleaner, citrus scent. turtles, cats, kittens, pet mice, pet rat, puppies, the snake and lizard. the tarantula was actually a very clean critter. cant' say as much for the others.
Have carpet removed and sent to a cleaner remove pad and you will have to have it replaced when carpet it replaced then paint wood floor with kilz. I don't have pets do to allergies and apparently the previous owner had carpet replaced but didn't paint floor since spots were popping up everywhere I looked into it and found out that they were cat urine, yuck. So I choose to have carpet replaced and floor paianted. The carpet company was the one that installed original carpet but said owner didnt want anything else done. It was in excellent condition except for that. Oh well.
