If it's just dusty, you can use an attachment from a vacuum cleaner, or dirt buster, etc. Also, maybe spot clean with scotch tape, light brushes.
You can also use powdered chalk or cream of tarter, check out this similar question for even more great advice! http://www.hometalk.com/diy/clean/fabric/q-does-anyone-know-how-to-clean-a-fabric-lampshade-1876947 good luck!
Does anyone know how to clean a fabric lampshade?
use a steamer
I shower mine and blow dry on low so that the shade spokes dry immediately and I let the rest dry naturally If it is a bit dirtier I scrub with a little dawn or laundry detergent with a soft bristle brush, then shower off It has not shrunk any of my shades and been doing this for years just use warm water.
Lint roller works too
I put mine in the bathtub soak it good with the hand shower, spray it with Fantastic, sponge it a bit in dirty spots , then shower it clean and clear. Now set it on a towel until it stops dripping and blow dry it on high so it won`t get water stains. Works every time for me ;-)
I use the sticky lint roller. Works great for dust and hair!
