Chest of Drawers From Boring to Interesting !

We were left two very cheap and boring pieces of pine furniture when we bought the house. A chest of drawers and small wardrobe. Neither were bad enough to be thrown away but they were both very boring and didn't go with the shabby chic look we were trying to give our house.
So we painted everything apart from the front of the drawers grey. Then bought a couple of cheap paper road maps and used them to cover the drawer fronts.
We bought deliberately mis-matched handles online to replace the boring old handles
The wardrobe was done in the same way
