Make a pretty easy tissue box cover in a day or about 6-7 hours while you watch TV.
Measure and cut plastic for the size of tissue boxes you buy. Some are smaller boxes while others are much larger. You can use color shaded plastic or the clear plastic sheets. 0.67 cents each. Two sheets per box will be needed.
Using a large needle and head. Thread the yarn and start sewing up the 1st two lines, then come back down the next line, continue till completed. Use single thread of the yarn. Do not use a doubled yarn thread, as it will be to thick to pull through the plastic.
Once all five pieces are completed, you sew them together. Then sew the bottom row so it looks pretty and neat.
Its an easy project, just takes some time to complete.
