We have the opportunity to pull up the original oak flooring from a 1930's home. It was installed with nails. We want to install it in another home And would appreciate any recommendations for what tools are needed, etc

You will lose your first board because you will need to "dig in" to find a good pry place. After that, a small pry bar will help, one with a nail notch in it. They look like this. Then, pry them up in the row you started in. Don't make a hole large enough to fall in or turn you knee or ankle. Good luck!

The above suggestion is best. Go slow and be patient . It's been there for a while and was made to stay there .
