How do I keep the bunnies away from eating my monkey grass?
We have monkey grass outlining our gardens and the bunnies are having a feast. How do I send them away without harming them?
Oh no!! Skunks are night-dwelling animals, and don't like bright light. A motion-activated flood lamp will often startle them off.
I thought about that, but I live in a duplex of duplexes and there is already many dusk to dawn lights on every building, doesn't seem to deter them. Thank you for the suggestion though.
Try mixing bone meal in and around the plant base. Another option is hot peppers from your kitchen pantry sprinkled on the soil around the base of your plant.
You could try covering them with chicken wire. You can also purchase a motion detector that sprays water on the critter when detected. It works great.
Ooo I like the sounds of the water spray, thank you for the suggestion.
That sounds like a good idea, I'll have to try that. Thank you.
