The problem is, if the deer are hungry and your plants are available, with rare exceptions they willl eat them. Where do you live? What zone? There are REZsISTANT plants.
Daffodils, foxgloves, and poppies are common flowers that have a toxicity that deer avoid. Deer also turn their noses up at fragrant plants with strong scents. Herbs such as sages, ornamental salvias, lavenders, peonies, and bearded irises are just “stinky” to deer.
Found this article that has a list of plants for you :) http://www.finegardening.com/15-deer-resistant-plants, good luck!
I always check the website at High Country Gardening for plants that are resistant to whatever I need. (rabbits, insects, deer, drought) They've always been on the mark. Then I try to find what I'm looking for in my area. If you buy from them, you may have to wait for the right season before they send it. The plants are a bit pricy, but they're guaranteed and I've never had a problem.
I'm sure you mean deer, don't you, dear?
Merrigolds. They need lots of sun but tollerate dry poor soil. Deer don't like the smell. We use them to deter many animals around the veggies.
google deer resistant plants for your growing zone.
