We pulled out a wall oven when we remodeled our kitchen which left a gaping hole. After a year we finally did something about it, drawers!

Brian Campbell, Basswood Artisan Carpentry on Jan 23, 2014Personally, I would find the top drawer or two a little too high for the drawer to be easy to use. It would be a good place for a lazy susan with doors though. Susans do make good use of deep spaces.

Terra Gazelle on Jan 23, 2014Thank you Christine. Doing remodeling is a way to really use your creativity and a mark on your environment that is so rewarding. I keep finding things I want to do..like use 20 x 20 faux tin tiles over my stove and over one set of base cabinets painted the same color as the walls..I think for that bit of unusual texture. Its under those cabinets that I want to put a decorative rod to hang my pots on. LOL..If I don't do this kitchen soon I will have more ideas then space to put them in. I finally bought my paint just to stop changing my mind on that.
