They work well for keeping pins, needles, and beads organized. Also check with your local animal shelter, some vets will use them. Works well for helping to keep postar paint manageable with young artists.
We give our bottles to the Vet, for when meds need to be sent for with Fido.

As a fisherman, use them for storing small hooks, sinkers, lures.. also in my workshop use them to sort nails, screw, other small items. Make sure to label them. Tip for removing old labels, use WD-40, let set for several hours then peels right off, won't harm the containers or your hands.
My suggestion is, to use them to store things in ie. office, craft room. Stick some together and use then in the sowing room to hold pins, needles ect. Turn one into a pin cushon holder. If you don't like the bottles the way they are, you could spray paint them and add a fancy lable. Home Talk had a post about repurposing these sort of bottles, check it out. Good luck! you can store different size screws or nails, I glue one on top of container so I know whats inside
They would be good for keeping seeds of plants, small items like paper clips, etc. in your desk. You could always give them along with other plastic to recycle.
I make jars for the Tooth Fairy. Kids like to save their treasures too. You can decorate some with odds and ends and spend time with the kids. Make real life memories while keeping them engaged and off their devices. A win/win situation.
