are chores a priority to him? has he ever lived on his own, or has he always had a woman to do the nesting?
is he generally democratic, or is there a constant power struggle along with this, where he thinks you 'should' be responsible for everything?
posting a job board on the fridge helped us when we first got started...
but yeah, 15 years later? sometimes, I have to just take the remote, and announce a cleaning break.
good luck with that but I know this if you naggggg nothing happens better you to prioritize and ask him to help you with the most important and something that is difficult for a woman to handle.

*LOL* oh my. The age old question. I have been fortunate: when the trash is full, someone takes it out. When a meal is to be prepared, one or both of us do so. He will sweep or vacuum when he sees a need. I am more likely to do laundry or change bedding but he volunteers other chores. Trust
me that i count my blessings and thank his mother for insisting that her sons had some appreciation of what it takes to keep a household going. My suggestion for you is to be honest about how coming home to a second job as Chief cook and bottle washer, maid, chef, and companion can be really draining. Tell him how it makes you feel. Explain that you will be a better companion sooner if you can knock many tasks out together rather than your doing them all single handedly. Point out that marriage is not 50-50. It is both partners giving 100%. Good luck. May you have many years in a happy partnership.
Hire a cleaning lady, gardener and handyman for the honey do list. Once he sees how much it costs and may not get to play golf, he will chip in.
