You may consider using a small amount off Quikrete to anchor each light
Oh my, now they are stealing solar lights? Quickcrete may not be a bad idea but thinking they still can steal the top part . . .
Glue the top to the spike. Poke two holes in the spike just about the height of the depth you will stick it in the ground. Then get some 6" to 8" long nails and drive them at an angle through the spike and into the ground. If you make them hard to remove thieves move on and hit your neighbors
Take a plantpot of decent size add quickcrete and stick the spike in there, when set bury it in the ground add the light using something like gorilla glue, cover the quickcrete base with soil to hide it, they may think twice if the base weighs a couple of kilos,
Smear them up with vaseline.
Electrocute them its easy & not hard to do & when they try to steal them they will get zapped!
357 and a big ole Hey Boys, whatcha up to tonight!
Yeah Judy, its the little ones you gotta watch out for! I wonder if some really long landscape pins would deter thieves. They sell them @ big box stores.
Not a way to keep them from being stolen, however I have one of those electric engraving pens and I wrote my name anew address on my solar lights (the metal frame). At least I'll be able to prove they're mine!
Correction - "my name AND address"
