Do you have a specific question? Paint and colors are subjective; you should definitely pick something you enjoy. Remember it is only paint and can be painted over. With Tan siding, your options are wide open.
Hello Lmccoy; If I were redoing your front door, I would go to Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Etc.
I would pick up every paint chip that I remotely like.
Bring them all home, look at the colors in sunlight, as well as inside.
Decide what color or colors that you Love.
Please choose something that makes you Happy, and that you Enjoy!!!!

I love a red front door . Traditionally it means all are welcome .
Do you have any shutters on the house? If so what color are those? Tan is a very neutral color so really you could go with just about anything.. I have always liked Navy and tan.. but don't know how 'fun' navy is! lol
Have tan as your house color allows you to paint the door pretty much any bold color! Use your favorite color or pull one from your landscaping or front entrance area. Anything is good! Yellow, red, any shade of blue, etc.
You can go bold with such a neutral base, have fun! Get a few samples and try them out before you commit to the final choice.
Paint colors are very personal taste. I would suggest selecting sample charts and look at them in you won surrounding.Once you think you might like the color get a sample and try it.
I like bold colors. I am partial to burgundy that would go with white, tan, beige, or gray. It looks rich and stately. My neighbor has a Barney purple door, I wouldn't suggest that.
I would prefer black it's classy and adding a black bench with pillows and black urns add that stunning clean look, and think of what your porch curb appeal you want, heres are some photos
