The beach! It's free....
Make sure it's ok to remove items from the area. Many are restricted from too many people taking valuable things and ruining the ecosystem.
For crafts? Any hobby or craft store. Also check fish and aquarium shops, also pet stores, or reptile supply places. Here is an on line link, probably not cheap though.

Direct from the Beach or may be Shell Shop?
Craft stores do not sell big pieces only small ones. You can check on line but it would be in your bet bet to walk a beach if you have one.
Never seen it for sale, might check Michaels. Talk a walk along a beach or a river there is plenty for free.
Hello Betsy; If I were you, I would go to a Beach. You can find all kinds of Driftwood for Free!!!!
if it is not possible for you to visit a Beach, I would look online. Please try EBay, and Amazon.
