I hung a variety of wooden drawers to my wall to hold supplies, also decorated metal coffee tins for paint brushes, scissors, sewping tools etc to place on my drawer shelves. Also a wooden shoe organizer holds my fat quarters and plastic, decorated coffee cans hold charm squares, a basket my paints. To me organized crafts don't really look like clutter. Hope this has some helpful ideas for you
Shop garage sales and look for the old style TV armoire which you can then repurpose into an awesome crafting center. You can paint it a beachy distressed white and add other decor items to make it fit your theme.
We have an old three doored cabinet we found someplace and keep in our basement. I collect china and store some here, also I collect silver and store flatware in another section. Really any type of storage used anywhere could be converted to storage for arts and crafts. Just depends on the space available. Could you post pictures of where you want this storage to be?
Coloured Cube staked anyway you wish
Replace the guest bed with a trundle style with storage drawers underneath, on one or two levels. Access to these drawers is much easier than reaching up to heavy bins on upper shelves. Your fabric and the supplies will be kept dust free and out of the light.
