I have just found this out. Sprinkle Epsom Salt over the burn spot & water for a few days. Repeat. My grass is turning green again.
Is this an indoor problem? Outdoors could be fine, but indoors there is something going on.....leaving him alone, new pet, baby, mate? Talk to your vet about the issue.
Have him Castrated - It helps
agreed. this sounds like a behavioral issue to be resolved. stern training may be required afterwards.
But, when i worked at Petsmart years ago there was a product that you could spray on the area that discouraged them from returning due to its smell. this could help in the meantime?
That is what male dogs do. And why I only have one male dog. If your dog is neutered they say it helps but not in my vast experience with many different breeds. As long as it is outside, I et them be. They do sell sprays to help define your territory v. theirs. It took some teaining, but all mine (as well as the neighbors dogs), know their "space." Here is a link to help you out. Good luck!
