i would dry brush it with grey paint!
Needs a nice thick wood mantle
I would Take all the Ornaments down and add A Large Mirror with a Clock on Top Shelf and a Plant on Bottom shelf.
Hello Borma; You have a Lovely Fireplace.
If I were redoing your Chimney, I would suggest that you go to Home Depot, Etc. Please look at paint chips, and pick out any colors that you are interested in and that you like.
Your room looks nice, and it looks like you have old wooden beams in your ceiling.
I would choose colors that I enjoy and want to live with.
I would lightly brush each brick, to add depth and color.
Trust your instincts. This is your home, so enjoy yourself!
Have fun working on your fireplace. Take Care!
You might want to reface with stacked stone with slate on the hearth. Here's what it could look like. I got the tile at Home Depot.
I love your fireplace wall. Although usually I am a more is more, person; in this case I would remove everything, including items on the hearth. Keep the same color. In my opinion this would be the most striking way to (not) decorate. You have an unusual and very attractive wall. I would even set the tools to the side.
Too much going on with accessories. Maybe add a mantle and have it be a focal point for a large painting or mirror. I like the color but would make sure mantle is either wood color or painted something besides the same as the brick. Send an update. Can't wait to see what you do.
Thanks
I like it just as it is. What are the round pieces?
Thanks , I'll do that
I would paint it a grey so it adds a focal point to your living room and see if those 3- shelf brick can be sawed off,and bent brick they will blending the he other brick, add a long shelf and add larger decorative items like candle stick holders and basket with wood and a large size lantern. The items now I would omit those. Kirklands and the Christmas tree shop have a lot of budget friendly decorating items.
You are so Welcome Borma!!
Please post what you do, as I would Love to see how it turns out!!! Take Care!
