They make great aprons or quilts. You could do a simple quilt and just cut equal squares. The apron could have a pocket or two in the right place from the jean's pocket! It would be cute, country, and durable.
Some people made lap top quilts with them or pillows or pot holders, etc.
You can make items to put your TV control in one, and TV guide in it also. Or, if you like cross word puzzles, this can go in also. Have a great day, J.
Type "denim projects" on YouTube and you will find wonderful ideas. Some don't even require sewing. Flowers, wallets, skirts, placemats, quilts, toys, pillows on and on! Have fun!
Cut them apart to make quilt blocks....use denim block and flannel blocks together for a nice rustic quilt or throw. Look on Pinterest for ways to use them to make skirts, handbags, etc. Make throw pillows out of them. Cut them into strips and sew them back together to make rage quilts.
There are many denim jeans being made. They are very pretty and practical.
Save every part as waist band and pockets make cute purse. The extra pockets can be cut as a block and can house items. you can also sew the blocks right side up and the blocks will fringe. Nancy
Claire at Pillarbox Blue just had a post a few days ago where she made darling pillows and embellished them with additional scrap fabric and yarn pom poms - but the search feature here on Hometalk isn't the greatest and sometimes takes me hours to find things.

You can also undo the center seams up the legs and in the crotch, cut it away and make a skirt. Use the legs from another pair as sleeves and the rest of a couple of pairs to make a patchwork jacket - and you have a suit for the rodeo!
cut the fabric away from the seams and sew together for a rag quilt or pillow
