Nope. You need to find the sources of the leak on your roof and poperly address the issue. Call around and get bids from at least 3 licensed roofing contractors.
There's an elastomeric roof "paint" you can find at HD or Lowe's. Failing that, I would follow Naomie Moore's advice.
no
No - it is for decks and does not actually a water resistant product.
I agree with Naomie's advice, as well. You need to find out why it's leaking before you can make a decision. It may not be coming from the spot you think. Many times water will travel within the beams and show up in a different spot. Sorry for the bad news, but you really need a professional to examine the situation.
Good luck!
there is one formulated for a temporary fix which I have posted
Definitely not. It is not a water proofer but a sealer. It 's made to absorb into raw woodgrain. You need a roofing pro to locate the leak and do a proper repair.
no, and water travels. A water spot is rarely where the leak is
Thompson does carry a roof seal product that is water based. I have never used it but have used a asphalt sealer that worked.
It will be a bad mistake and dry out the oils of your shingles and cause more leaks
Any product of that type will help you just for a period, If your roof is leaking you'll better call a roofing contractor ( LiVE SG) this will help you to solve leaking issue much better then using compounds to stop leaking, you need to prevent it. Or call them to ask for a better advise, maybe they'll help you to fix your problem
Simple answer - no. You need to have a roofer take a look at it.
No more then a few coats of paint would. The roof needs to be fixed before anything. If it is rainy right now where you are you could buy a gallon of mastic (got mine from Lowe's) it looks like thick black tar. Just apply and it will get you thru until you can fix this right.
No. It is not formulated for roofs. You need to call a roofer.
Black Magic can do that, but they are only really temp fixes!
